Measure once, wear it for years. Everything I make is sized to you, so a good measurement is the difference between "perfect" and "close enough." Here's how to get it right.
Bracelets
You'll need to measure your wrist with a garment tape measure. Don't have one? Wrap a piece of yarn or string around your wrist, mark it, and measure the string with a straight measuring tape or a yardstick.
Your bracelet size will not equal your wrist measurement. I add length so the depth of the bracelet and the buckle still fit your wrist comfortably. When you order, pick your wrist measurement, not a bracelet length, I'll take care of the rest.
Dog collars
Measuring your dog's neck is simple:
- Get a flexible measuring tape. No tape? Use a piece of string or a phone charging cable, then measure it with a ruler.
- Wrap it around your dog's neck at the base, where the collar will sit. Snug, but not tight.
- Leave room for comfort. You should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck.
- Read the measurement. If you used string, mark it and measure it with a ruler.
Slings
My slings come in three lengths, sized to the person carrying them:
| Sling | Length | Made for |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 40" | 5'5" and under |
| Medium | 46" | 5'6" to 5'7" |
| Large | 52" | 5'8" to 6'2" |
